Wild Wave is a company operating in the field of Whitewater Riversport specializes in RescueWildWater® for over 11 years. We are a point of reference for the divulgation of a mentality of safety in the river (RWW®)
The twenty years of experience acquired in Italy and abroad of our Technical Trainers have made possible the creation of a permanent Educational Point on the River Brenta in Veneto.
R.W.W. ® standards are accepted by Kayak Teachers Italian Canoa and Kayak Federation (FICK) Rafting Guide, Province of Padua services of Civil Defense (ISO 9001), UISP. The standard of courses are nationally recognized and meet the EC directives using technical materials and equipment approved.
From this situation derives the exigence to create a safety culture and techniques of intervention with the creation of a standards and a common language enabling communication and collaboration in an emergency situation even among people from different groups by adopting safety standards in According to the directives contained in Legislative Decree n. 626/94 of 19 September 1994 and subsequent amendments (81/2008).

Subjects :
Knowledge river environment, hydrology, hydrodynamics, obstacles and hazards, rescue procedures , prevention, technical equipment, use of safety equipment, rescue techniques, knots and their use, language and communication signals, conventional construction of aerial and oblique cableways using ropes, testing practices in river.

Basic Rescue WildWater®
Course Theoretical / Practical in Classroom supported with audiovisual equipment and dry practising with technical equipment.
Objective of the Course : this course face the wide subject of dangers in river and water situation, gives basic information for water self-rescue and inform about the correct behaviour near river or chanels or other location natural or artificial in case of idraulic risks.

Assistant RescueWildWater®
Course Theoretical / Practical Classroom supporting audiovisual and river environment - Issuing Certificate with annual validity.
Objective of the Course : Make people aware of the dangers in river, basic techniques of rescue and self-rescue in wild water , correct use of technical equipment and strategies of rescue in wildwater. The course gives also information about the correct behaviour in case of risking situation.
Duration of Course 16 hours divided in 2 days.
Equipment
Onda Selvaggia® supply technical equipment people should need in order to take to the courses : life jacket CE , helmet, long john and neoprene jacket and also all the technical kit for the rescue manouvres as ropes, carabines, etc.
COURSES
Courses are addressed to: kayakers, Canoe/Kayak Instructors and Teachers, Professional River Operators, Fireman, Rafting Guides, Red Cross Personell and all those people that , for any reason, are involved in activities near river or similar.

RENEWAL
Renewal should be done at least every 2 years attending annual update in the presence of an experienced trainer organized by the Training Center. After two years without updates the patent expired.

BREVETTI e RIVER RESCUE CERTIFICATE - Master Rescue WildWater® (R.W.W.®)
Master RescueWildWater®
The advance level is reserved to whom has already got the Assistant Rescue R.W.W.® Certificate.
The courses are addressed to: kayakers, Canoe/Kayak Instructors and Teachers, Professional River Operators, Fireman, Rafting Guides, Red Cross Personell.
This Patent is nationally recognized by UISP and allows you to get in the fundamental concepts of self-Rescue, rescue and advanced emergency intervention in wildwater rivers. This course face also the subject how to manage the group or team and the role of leader, key figure that coordinates different strategies of relief.
The renewal should be done at least every 2 years attending annual update in the presence of an experienced trainer organized by the Training Center. After two years without updates the patent expired.
Objective of the Course : Make people aware of the dangers in river, strategies of rescue considering the different situation, basic and advance techniques of rescue and self-rescue with theoretical and practical application in wildwater river. During this course we face the problematic of the group and its management with the important rule of the Leader.

What to bring: knitted socks and wool or fleece, a bathing suit and needed to shower.
