How many people we need to take part to the different activities?
The number changes on behalf of the activities and other can also be individual. The one that need a minimum of participants is the rafting descent . Here we need to be at least 4 people, but don’t worry if you are alone or with a friend, we will joint all the requests and we will create the group. We can take down the river maximum 50 people at time…
What do you supply and what do I need to bring?
We will supply all technical equipment in order to take part to all activities: for Rafting and Kayak we will give you neoprene long john, sweat shirt, helmet and life jacket EC approved; for Hydrospeed we will give you also neoprene boots, fins, neoprene gloves and jacket. You will need to bring with you gym shoes, swim suite, wool made t- shirt. If you wear glasses bring also an elastic fasteners so that we can fix them avoiding to let them fall in the river.
Is it dangerous?
No it is not dangerous. All the activities that we propose respect high standards safety. Material and equipment respect standard CE and our Teacher and Guides that will be with you along the river are well trained to prevent any dangerous situation. The most important thing is follow the recommendation of your Guide.
Do we need to be expert?
Everybody can take part to the different programmes and activities, even beginners and children starting from 8 years up. As far Hydrospeed we require minimum of 13/14 years and Kayak can be started even at 10 years or less.
What age you require to take part to Rafting trip?
Rafting is available for young and children starting from 7/8 years. Security is always guarantee , but we want also that children enjoy this experience. We usually value if the child is going to appreciate the activity as far as his emotional maturity is concerned.
Who follows me during the activity?
You are going to be always followed by experienced staff, depending on the activity, you will be accompanied by teachers and instructors of Federal canoeing, rafting guides and accompanying or instructors of Nordic Walking and Climbing for activities related to the mountain.
And if I’m not able to swim and I’m afraid of the water?
We always supply a life jacket that provides you to float and not sink…It is very important to inform your Guide about it. He will take care of you and will help you to face the first impact with the wild water activities. We know that you will enjoy because , after few minutes, you will feel that the whole activity is extremely safe. For any problem you can referred to your Guide that is prepared to face any situation.
And if the river is flooding?
We always check water level and weather forecast. The level is monitored constantly and then , when the river does not guarantee adequate safety standards, we would be the first to warn and postpone or cancel the activity.
After the descent, how do I go back to my car?
Everything is organized. We have some vans that will shuttle you up to our Base where you left your car.
And if it rains?
River Sports can be practised even if it is raining. We supply suitable equipment that will protect and we assure you that you won’t realize that it is raining…of course, if there is am hurricane or tropical tempest… we will delay the departure or postpone the activity in another day.
Can we practising during the winter time?
The period lasts from May (end..) to September in Valle d’Aosta and from March to October in Veneto.
When is the best season?
Spring, Summer, Autumn offer anytime a particular descent… the Brenta river is always navigable because is regulated from several dams and the Dora Baltea river offers the possibility to go down different sections for all summer time.. water never lack !!!
